Wageningen is jong, internationaal en betrokken. Maar ook: vol uitdagingen. Betaalbaar wonen, klimaatstress, ongelijkheid, ingewikkelde regels; veel mensen voelen zich niet gehoord of buitengesloten.

The major issues of our time don’t stop at the city limits. Climate, agriculture, housing, digital security—they’re felt locally but connected to Europe and The Hague. Connect knows what’s happening on the streets, and Volt brings European solutions and knowledge within reach. Together, we translate European opportunities into solutions for Wageningen.

We kiezen niet voor gepolariseerde politiek, maar voor échte verandering. Praktisch, open, samen. Of het nu gaat om coöperatieve woningbouw, een klimaatvriendelijke campus of duidelijke participatie in meerdere talen; we bouwen aan een stad waar iedereen zich thuis voelt.

Mission

Wij bouwen aan een verbonden Wageningen waarin iedereen meetelt en meedoet. Als Connect-Volt Wageningen staan we voor een stad die lokaal geworteld is, maar met een blik op de wereld. Wij brengen mensen samen; studenten en ouderen, nieuwkomers en gevestigde bewoners, en werken aan oplossingen die eerlijk, duurzaam en toekomstgericht zijn.

Our mission is to prepare Wageningen for tomorrow’s challenges by building bridges today—between residents, neighborhoods, and between local policy and European opportunities. We believe in collaboration, transparency, and the power of inclusive democracy.
